This is a message of good news on vocations.

John, when you visited our council in Lexington during January, a young man was present who was seeking admission into our order (he also happens to be my godson). After voting for his admission, you presented me with a KofC NC pin to present to him at his First Degree. The young man's name is Rithi DeMonteiro. Rithi was presented the pin at the conclusion of his First Degree, and he is now a Third Degree member in the St. Francis DeSales Council.

John, the really good news is this. This past week he was accepted into Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in Nebraska beginning this September. He desires to become of member of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. In seven years, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will have another knight who becomes a priest ministering to His people.
