Bishop Michael J. Begley Council 770

We had a great St. Patrick's Day Celebration on March 16 & 17. On Monday at 7:30 PM we met with Council 9560 and heard a breath-taking account from a real live and still shaking survivor of the US Air Plane landing into the Hudson River in NY. Then we had green beer and Irish Soda Bread. It was a great cheerful gathering. And wives and guests and everyone had fun.

After less than 24 hours we started another St. Patrick's Day Party - This one was at the Mass by our Bishop Peter Jugis at St. Patrick's Cathedral. The Knights had the honor guard, The Bagpiper and Gallic Women had the entertainment, and there was Irish Food for all, along with our more of our Knights Irish Soda Bread.

Here are some of the Knights who attended the St. Patrick's Day Festival at St. Patrick's Cathedral. We plan to have it again in 2010.

I want to especially thank our Famous Knight, NC State Treasurer, Greg Kent, for his time, Honor Guard and Check to Bishop Jugis.

Vivat Jesus.
