FIELD AGENT CHECKLIST
FRATERNAL YEAR 2010 - 2011
1. Contact your new Grand Knight and meet personally to:
A. Obtain a council roster / telephone list.
B. Plan to attend installation of Officers.
C. Plan and set dates for your Fraternal Benefit Nights.
D. Review a plan to attain Founders Award requirements.
E. Discuss Insurance Promotion Award requirements.
F. Discuss Crowe Agency Insurance Award requirements.
G. Insure Council newsletter is mailed to you.
H. Include your articles, name and telephone number in newsletters.
I. Discuss Admission Committee procedures on informing new members of
your duties and our insurance program.
J. Request use of Admission Committee Questionnaire and copy with From
100 to G.A.
K. Review our agency guideline packet received by him at the Grand Knight July
meting.
L. Set plans for recruitment of new members.
M. Obtain 1st Degree initiation dates.
N. Arrange for insurance posters, display, etc. for council meeting place.
2. Meet with your Financial Secretary to:
A. Review member roster for leads.
B. Encourage use as a center of influence.
C. Discuss suspensions affecting insurance quotas.
D. Review Agency guidelines on sending Form 100's to G.A.
E. Ensure he calls GA (828) 298-3660 or Field Agent for notification
of any deaths.
3. Meet with insurance promotion chairman and admission committee chairman.
A. Set guidelines for them to promote you and insurance program.
4. As Fraternal Year 2010 - 2011 begins, I must remind you that you have an obligation to:
A. Call on all new members on a timely bases and to report results
to me.
B. Obtain gross Founder's Award goal as a minimum
and net as an ideal.
C. Attend First Degrees, socials, and important council events to establish
a presence and to make contacts.
D. Hold a Fraternal Benefits Night.
E. Assist with membership growth to enhance your prospect growth.
F. Maintain regular contact with your councils' Grand Knight, Financial
Secretary and District Deputies.
G. Encourage members to see Field Agent careers (if you think they would
do well).
5. On the state level, Field Agent must attend the July ORG planning meeting, the January midyear meeting, and the State Convention in May.
6. Regarding production, a minimum of 100 apps total per 800 assigned members is required as a minimum. (as an ideal, 100 apps on members.)
