Operation Rescue
North Carolina
Purpose:
The primary purpose of this program is
to stay in touch with the Councils membership that does not actively come to
meetings and events.
Results
and benefits expected:
· Improved Retention (Fraternity)
·
Early alert when a member has a problem (sick or other)
·
Early alert if a member has relocated
· Members to get to know non
active brothers
· Eliminate embarrassing
surprises.
The
Process:
· Take attendance at meetings
to identify the non active
Brothers.
· Assign each of the active
brothers a small group of the
inactive
brothers to contact quarterly.
· The contact is to be very
friendly. (How are you
doing?
Have not seen you lately. Is every thing ok?)
and
similar.
· Very non confrontational. Just
let the brother know
that they
are being thought of.
· Confidentially advise the
Grand Knight of any issues
that
arise during the contact that could require action.
·
Grand Knight initiates the appropriate action
