Relocation Report Instructions

Council Information is required; Will be needed to complete the transfer

Council Contact; Will default to the GK if not provided

Brother’s information; We need what is listed on the form. If you are not collecting the specified information now in your FS detail, begin to do so and do it retroactive if possible. Items such as Wife’s name, E-mail address, emergency contact information and cell phone number are invaluable when searching for a lost brother.

Whenever possible, have the brother fill out the form before he leaves.

Our historical data indicates that 1/3 of the brothers who move out of state will pay dues at their home council for a couple of years and then drift away. Fully 2/3rds just vanish and the council finds out they are gone when the mail comes back or the dues are not paid. We want to be pro-active in the future and contact the council in the area they relocate to and get them invited to a meeting at their new location.

In State the contact should be GK to GK

Out of state send the relocation form to the State Retention Director. He will use his contacts in the other states to have the member contacted wherever he goes.
