Worthy Brothers,
On occasion a Financial Secretary and Grand Knight of a Council may find
themselves facing the dilemma of the “drop”. The
decision to remove
a Brother Knight from our roster is never one that is easily made. Often there
have been many attempts to
contact and communicate with the Brother Knight
in question, and often to no avail.
To date during this current Fraternal year there has been a great amount
of communication between local Councils and the
North Carolina State Council
Membership Team. The Membership Chairmen and myself greatly appreciate your
willingness
to communicate with us. We are also very appreciative of the quality
of reports and information that you have begun to regularly
share.
As members of a worldwide Fraternity of Catholic Gentlemen, as Knights; we
obviously value every man for the unique and
important contribution that they
each bring to our Order. In an effort to salvage the relationship that we,
as Knights, have
established with the Brother that may potentially be on the “drop” list;
I am asking each Grand Knight and District Deputy to
complete and forward to
me a completed copy of the newly created conservation
document that is included
on this website.
This report can be printed, scanned, and emailed or printed
and sent via USPS.
I know that there are enough forms to be filled out as well as copies to
be made and mailed but look at it this way; each and
every man who enters our
Order is our Brother. These men are as deserving as your most active Brother
within your Council
of our time and concern. By completing this form you are
offering these “removed” Brothers another chance to re-enlist,
if you
will, in our Order and to offer their unique contributions to the programs
that attracted them in the first place.
In closing I ask, please take the extra few minutes necessary to complete
the conservation form and then scan and email, or
mail via USPS the same to
me so that I may personally follow up with the Brother Knight in question.
