2026 State Convention

 

We look forward to seeing you in Durham at the 106th State Convention being held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel on the weekend of May 15-17, 2026.  Please share this letter with your spouses so that they will understand what is going on at the Convention and may decide to join us in the experience.

We expect a large turnout this weekend for Fraternity, Family, Fun, Food, and Fundraisers!  We highly recommend making your hotel reservations and submitting your online registration forms as soon as possible.

In addition to registering, please ensure that the Grand Knight or Financial Secretary has submitted your delegate form on or before April 1, 2026.

  • March 1, 2026

 

  • Due March 2026 During Council business meeting: 

    • Election of Council Delegates - Councils must hold elections for delegates and alternates by their March business meeting.
    • Bishop and Culture of Life Funds - Councils should approve, write, and bring these checks to the Convention. Make checks payable to Knights of Columbus NC State Council. Put the fund on the memo line.

  • Due April 1, 2026

    • Convention Booklet - Last day for submission of Ads for the convention book
    • State Raffle – Tickets & Money – Tickets stubs and money are due to your District Deputy
    • Credentials - Delegates and Alternates are to be submitted by the Grand Knight or Financial Secretary to the Financial and Procedure Training Administrator by using the electronic form provided on the credentials committee page or a paper form available for download.
    • Supreme, State Per Capita & All Outstanding invoices must be paid in order to seat your delegates at the convention.
    • Necrology - Report of the names of and 3rd degree titles for all brothers who have passed away since April 1, 2025, to the State Secretary using the form provided.
    • District Deputies, Regional District Deputies, State Directors, and Chairmen - Fraternal Reports due to the State Deputy and State Secretary. - Statesecretary@kofcnc.org

 

  • April 13, 2026

    • Hotel Reservation - Last day to register with the hotel for room reservations at a special rate. 
    • State Convention Registration - Last day to register for the convention.
 

  • May 15 - 17, 2026  "Convention Time"

    • Bishop Fund Check – Councils are asked to contribute to either the Diocese of Charlotte or Raleigh. Bring a check made payable to Knights of Columbus NC State Council, with "Bishop’s Fund Charlotte" or "Bishop’s Fund Raleigh" on the memo line.
    • Culture of Life Check – Councils are asked to make a donation. 
      Bring a check payable to Knights of Columbus NC State Council, with "Culture of Life Fund" on the memo line. 
    • Penny Per Day Check – Bring a check made out to Knights of Columbus NC State Council with Penny Per Day on the memo line.
    • Grand Knight Report – Grand Knights are asked to submit their Annual Report for the Fraternal Year that summarizes the highlights of their Council’s activities, prospects for membership growth, leadership development, its general organizational “health” status, initiatives, and issues needing attention. A sample of the Grand Knight’s Report with outline of key components is available here. Please submit the Report to the State Secretary as an email or email attachment to: statesecretary@kofcnc.org 
    • Columbian Award Report (SP7 Form) – Include Forms@kofcnc.org with the submission.
    • LAMB Auction - Bring items for the LAMB Auction.
    • Council Banner – Bring and display your Council banner at the convention. Any questions, contact the State Warden. StateWarden@kofcnc.org
    • Fourth Degree Uniform – Fourth Degree members should bring their new regalia & participate in the Color/Honor Guard at Mass. Honor Guard Signup
