We have an urgent request for support with the upcoming
Special Olympics North Carolina Fall Games.
The Knights of Columbus have been specifically asked to help, and volunteers
are needed for events taking place in the Charlotte, Concord, and Cornelius areas.
This opportunity is open to Knights and family members age 18 and older.
Please help spread the word throughout your councils.
My Brother Knights,
I recently received a request from North Carolina Special Olympics headquarters
specifically requesting the Knights’ help at the upcoming State Fall Games,
which will be held Thursday, November 12 through Saturday, November 14.
These games will be held in the Charlotte, Concord, and Cornelius areas.
Please review the Fall Tournament Fact Sheet for the specific sports events
and locations.
While the request was intended for Knights in the Charlotte region,
it is open to any Knight and family members over the age of 18.
Please use the volunteer link below to sign up, or contact me for any
additional information or questions.
If you have never volunteered at a Special Olympics event, this is the perfect
opportunity to do so. Some volunteer duties include registration sign-in,
presenting medals, and most of all, encouraging athletes.
I hope to see many of my Brother Knights in Charlotte in November.
