Reflection on John 20:11
I couldn’t stop holding Him.
I knew from his voice it was Him.
That hole in my very being was filled again.
It has been three days of agony and tears.
Now its tears of joy because it is truly Him.
These are friendships forged in shared trials. Relationships strengthened by passion for service and a deep-seated faith for the Risen Lord. The 40 days of Lent is the preparation of heart and soul for a glorious Easter. It is a time for meaningful introspection, but also the time for much activity as a Knight. I can find fish fries and soup dinners at every parish across the state. Stations of the Cross, Adoration, and rosaries fill the calendar between the days of fasting and abstinence. There are even Knights that hold their long-standing, traditional pilgrimage to the Altars of Repose on Holy Thursday night. It’s a whirlwind tour across several Charlotte parishes in one night. I hope to join them again this year. The palms distributed, lectures read, and Masses ushered are as countless as prayers offered during this time.
On behalf of the entire State Council, I thank you for the service and spirituality that you’ve put into Lent and the Easter celebration. I also wish to share the joy of our Risen Lord from our families to you and your families. Hallelujah, He is risen! Que la paz del Señor esté con ustedes y sus familias. ¡Aleluya!
I thought he was the gardener, but it is truly Him.
I cannot explain but I do know my heart is running over with happiness.
Pain is now replaced with exhilaration.
I must run! I must tell the others! I must tell everyone!
