Greetings from the Crystal Coast!
I was so honored to meet some of you at Council Leadership training in Fayetteville.
Your councils have the unique opportunity of helping out double the kids that you have helped in past years with the Coats for Kids program.
In the month of August, if you order your cases of coats through the State using the order form on the State website, you will be able to get a buy one get one free. If you order and pay for 5 cases, you will receive 10 cases. There is no mixing cases. So, if you order and pay for a case of Boys Child Coats (4-6), you will receive two cases of the Boys Child Coats (4-6) when you pick up your order.
Using the order form on the State website, you will need to select where you would like to pick up your order. There will be 3 drop off points for the entire state. In the East – the drop off point will be in Fuquay-Varina. In the Central – the drop off point will be in Greensboro. In the West – the drop off point will in Candler. My sincere thanks to the councils that stepped up to be the drop off locations.
More information will follow as we go through this process.
By now, councils should be scheduling their Soccer challenges and have ordered their kits through Supreme. Get your local winners to send on to your district challenge site to go on to the State Soccer challenge. Date and location are still being finalized.
