District Master's Message

My Brothers:
We are about to start Advent. I hope that you all are getting ready.
Our Supreme Master has issued his first
MEMO
.
I want to thank all the Faithful Navigators that responded to my request on getting me some info on what your assembly did for Veteran’s Day. This was a “short fuse” request from our Vice Supreme Master, and you all responded in North Carolina patriotic fashion. Keep up the great work.
It is getting time to do your individual Fraternal Survey. Please keep your council hours different from your assembly hours.
The bishop from the military Archdioceses is going to be at Camp Lejeune on 17 DEC 23. We have been asked for an Honor Guard. We did this last year and it was a great success. If any of you Sir Knights get the chance to be in an honor guard for the military archbishop, please consider it. You will be surprised.
Sir Knights—a call to action—Please support the various occasions throughout the state by wearing your regalia. These include the Marches for Life in our great state (and the national one if you can go); our State Convention; color guards and honor guards at both cathedrals, Special Olympic functions, and I’m sure that I missed more than a few. The more we have participating, the more people see us doing good, the more likely they will join us. Thank you.
I just participated in my second “Support Military Families”, in Jacksonville. They are going to do the same at Fort Liberty in Fayetteville. If you have the opportunity to help in one of these events, please do so. Again, you will be surprised and filled with joy!
Start planning for the Bi-annual meeting! (13 APR 24, in Graham) It will be at Blessed Sacrament church (1620 Hanford Road, Graham, NC). Don’t forget, I will need three names of Sir Knights for the position of Master of the District of North Carolina. My time is drawing near. The position will start on 1 SEP 24.

MPORTANT DATES:
25 DEC—the birth of Christ!
Exemplification: New Bern, 20 JAN 2024. It will be at the Church and gym. NOT at the Knights of Columbus hall.
