Greeting All,
The Advent season is here, and Christmas is upon us. We are all looking forward to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The year has gone by, and we have hardly noticed how much our lives have changed in many ways as we continued to grow in our faith. Our extended families have grown as we have welcomed many new Brothers into our family. Even though our State has faced some significant challenges this past year. We have stepped up and came to the aid of, not only our brothers in need, but many of their neighbors and members of their communities. This support will continue to be in high demand going forward for an extended period of time. But this is what we do, take Jesus to those who need it the most.
While I only have10 months of data on the programs that everyone has submitted to Supreme on their 10784’s, I can give you what I have so far so that you can see what you have done since January 1, 2024, in the different program categories.

There is still two months of data missing, but as you can see, you have been very busy this past year. Even though you don’t do the programs to get awards, it does feel good to get recognized for the work you are doing, and it causes you to want to do even more. With the help of the Council leaders, the Brothers doing the work to make the programs possible should get the recognition they deserve. Please make sure that you have completed Form 10784 for all of those wonderful programs that your Council has completed within the past year. Submit them to Supreme, the State and your District Deputy and please expand your description of the program including pictures during the event if possible.
To keep up with what is happening within our State, please read what each of the Program Directors have submitted as articles in this month’s Tar Heel Knight.
I will leave you with this prayer.
Heavenly Father, heal my heart during this season of Advent. Help me to love more fully. To forgive more generously. To wait more patiently for Christmas, embracing each day and hour knowing the joy that awaits. In Your name I pray. Amen.
Vivat Jesus
