December 2025
The Tar Heel Knight
Midyear point

Brothers All,
I trust that each of you enjoyed a blessed Thanksgiving and had time to reflect on the year. Let us be grateful for the gifts God has given us, and let us continue to work with Him on the areas of our lives that matter most as Catholic gentlemen.
As we look forward to celebrating the Birth of Jesus, may we renew our focus on our faith, deepen the unity we share as Knights of Columbus, and recommit ourselves to being the best husbands, fathers, and family men we can be.
I remain humbled to serve each of you as your State Secretary, and I will continue to use the gifts God has given me in service to you and to our Order.
As we approach the mid-year point of our fraternal year, I would be remiss if I did not remind you of several important responsibilities:
Please stay in regular communication with your State Council.
Ensure your required forms are submitted on time.
Begin the necessary preparations within your councils for the upcoming State Convention.
Review of your council’s succession plans.
And above all, do not hesitate to ask for help whenever you need it.
Remember:
I am here to serve you.
Vivat Jesus,
Paul McGrath
State Secretary
