February 28, 2026
The winners of the 2025-26 North Carolina Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest are:
Kindergarten: Felicity Ramon, St. Luke the Evangelist Council 12455, Raleigh
Grades 1-2: Alexander Quiroz, St. Luke the Evangelist Council 12455, Raleigh
Grades 3-4: Perla Patino Aquirre, Father Joseph Maule Council 8923, Arden
Grades 5-6: Lucy Myrick, Father Joseph Maule Council 8923, Arden
Grades 7-8: Lillian Tatum, St. Luke the Evangelist Council 12455, Raleigh
Congratulations to Felicity, Alexander, Perla, Lucy and Lillian and to the sponsoring Grand Knights Kerry Jambon of Council 8923 and Rick Beebe of Council 12455! Thank you also to all the many entrants and all he councils and members who were involved in this year’s contest.
The winning entries are displayed on the
Keep Christ in Christmas
page on the State Website. The winning artists have been notified and their councils will arrange to present them each with a certificate acknowledging their accomplishment. Their artwork will be forwarded to Supreme for consideration in the final round of judging.
This contest is an excellent opportunity to increase awareness of our Order while getting our youth involved. I speak from personal experience; the first time that I heard of the Knights of Columbus was when the contest was announced to my grade school. If you have a Catholic school, youth group or both in your parish please consider this event next Fall if you’re not already doing it.
Thank you also to those who purchased cards and other materials through the Keep Christ in Christmas program.
Frank Reck, GPD and KCIC Chairman
