State Secretary's Message

Greetings Brothers all.
Here we are. A new year, a new start, lots of energy and excitement!!! Thank you to all the men who took that step and became a Knight of Columbus. You are the faces of our state and of the order, and without you, we would not be able to bring Jesus to the people and places that need him most. Thank you for the hours of time you have and will continue to give in support of this endeavor.
Thank you to those of you who accepted leadership roles in your councils. Whether you are an officer, director, chairman or project lead, it is you who help motivate and inspire our general membership to remain active. Without you working in conjunction with the members of your council, we cannot be the preeminent organization of providing support to our communities, all driven by our Faith.
Thank you to those who are serving on state staff; our Directors and Chairman driving Membership and Programs. You are the direct line of support to our councils for executing programs and growing membership. Post Covid has witnessed
TREMENDOUS
increases in membership growth and programs. Without you, this could not happen.
Thank you, our District Deputies and Regional District Deputies, for taking on your roles to further help promote the good works of our state. You are the conduit between our councils and the Supreme Knight and the State Deputy. Your role is extremely important to help guide, mentor and encourage our councils to seek out ways to serve their communities, and find avenues to execute that service.
Finally, thank you to all our delegates who voted for the new slate of State Officers. Thank you for your trust and confidence in electing us to continue to advance the great works of the State of North Carolina.
We kick off our new year to help get ALL of you trained up to perform your duties. We will be kicking off with our State Organizational Meeting the weekend of July 12 – July 15 in Durham for our DDs and RDDs. The weekend(s) after will then focus on training the council leaders through Council Leadership Training 1-day initiatives. If you have not yet registered for to attend, please do that quickly:

To wrap up our summer, your elected state delegation will be heading to Quebec, Canada to attend the Supreme Convention August 6

Summer is a great time to get out, relax, and enjoy life. However, the Order doesn’t shut down during the summer, and the State doesn’t shut down during the summer. The Knights of Columbus is open for business!!! Are you?
Vivat Jesus.
