A Lenten Message: Reflection, Renewal, and Our Path to the State Convention

Worthy Brothers,
I wish you and your families a deeply blessed Lenten season as we prepare together for the glorious Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
For me, Lent has always been a quiet and reflective time—a season to recalibrate our spiritual compass. However, we know that every man’s journey is unique, and God loves each of us as we follow our own path of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
While we observe this season of reflection, your State Council is also busy preparing for the upcoming State Convention. I am pleased with the outstanding work being done by our Convention Committee, led by Will McGowan and Dr. Denis Carter. Our State Secretary, Joe McCarthy, is serving as our primary liaison to the committee, ensuring that every detail aligns with our mission of "Hope Without Borders."
This year, the convention is shaping up to be more than just a business meeting for the Knights; it is being designed as a true family event. I personally invite you to register early and prayerfully consider bringing your family along to share in the fraternity and faith that define our Order.
Finally, I want to extend a sincere thank you to the many councils, districts, and regions that have already submitted their Ads for the Convention Book. Your contributions do more than fill pages; they provide the "pennies" that allow us to fund our charitable works across North Carolina. If you have not yet submitted your Ad, we would deeply appreciate your support and your blessings as we finalize this year's commemorative book.
Vivat Jesus!
Paul McGrath
State Secretary
