Worthy Brothers,
I want to congratulate every council that recently held membership drives and exemplifications. Your hard work in welcoming new Brother Knights into our Order is truly inspiring. By sharing your love for our faith with other Catholic men, you have positioned the State of North Carolina to achieve our annual membership goal.
As I often say, "This is a numerical milestone, but we know that in the Knights of Columbus, membership is not about statistics. Instead, it is about the power of Charity and the strength of a unified brotherhood."
With Lent upon us, every Fish Fry is a providential opportunity. I ask each council holding a Fish Fry to place a membership table in a prominent location to greet families as they enter. Your Regional District Deputy (RDD) has branded tablecloths and acrylic frames available for your use. Check out the picture that Worthy RDD 7 Jim Coyle sets up for events.
I encourage you to fill those frames with photos of your local "Knights in Action." Let your parish and the community see the hope we provide and the lives we touch through our service.
Please let me know how I can support your efforts.
Vivat Jesus!
