The Tar Heel Knight

It was the fifth or sixth coldest day of my life. I was approached by a couple of my Brother Knights who suggested that we needed a great person on the State Officer Council. One brother suggested that I needed more faith programs in my life and suggested that I participate more in my faith. So, I became a Sacristan at my parish and helped those who wanted more information about my faith. So, I also became an OCIA sponsor. Next, to broaden my leadership abilities, since I had already been a Grand Knight, perhaps I could become the Worthy Faithful Navigator of our Assembly.

The same brothers wanted to broaden my community work. So, I became the Delivery Manager for my local Chapter (NC-Jacksonville) of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. This is my favorite activity outside of my work inside the Knights of Columbus.

Brother Knights help one of their own live out their dreams. This is why being a Councilman in the State of North Carolina makes living out a dream possible.
