Ceremonials

The Knights of Columbus ceremonials are an important part of the Order. They provide the lessons on Charity, Unity, and Fraternity in a single ceremony. This change is effective as of January of 2020 when they were combined by the Supreme Council. Once a member who is a new candidate or an existing member who is not listed as being a Third Degree Knight attends a ceremony, they will upon completion be a Third-Degree member of the Council. This means that existing First and Second-Degree members should be encouraged to participate in the new degree ceremony

The Ceremony is the responsibility of the Council. This includes the supplies, scripts, and team to perform the duties of each role. It is encouraged to if not possible to have a full team work with other councils nearby to hold exemplifications.
