We are near halfway through our Fraternal Year with lives around the world in the balance of survival. We have abortions peaking in the US, driven by a more secular and abortion-accepting culture and the ease of abortion through medication alone. Although 1 in 11 women undergoing a medical abortion have serious complications, it remains prevalent and near 70% of today's' abortions. We, as pro-life advocates, recognize the difficulty in women committing to raising a child conceived before planned, and strongly support Adoption as the solution, the only option! Please consider your Council's 2025-26 events and budget in light of the necessity to save babies' lives.
We' ve added a new NC Life area this year entitled, "Life Sustaining", which focuses on end-of-life compassion with eternal life as the goal, and stemming the growth of Medically Assistance in Dying (MAID), the new name for Euthanasia. This a featured program. The Holy Hour for Life with Our Lady of Guadalupe program calls upon councils to organize adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and ask for Our Lady of Guadalupe’s intercession for the pro-life cause to qualify for a featured program.

To qualify, Councils are required to organize a minimum of 25 marchers to participate in a national, state or local March for Life or councils must, themselves, organize a March for Life. Marches for Life, be they in Washington, DC, Raleigh, Charlotte, or local cities/towns in North Carolina, are intended for us, Knights, to demonstrate publicly our support for life at all stages, and to enable other marchers to likewise demonstrate their support for life at all stages.
